There’s only one word that can describe South Korean group 2PM’s second concert — entitled “What Time Is It?” — which took place in Jakarta on Saturday. Hot.
The concert, held at the Mata Elang International Stadium, North Jakarta, started at 8:15 p.m. and was packed out with thousands of “hottests” (as the group’s fans are called). The show opened with the band’s six members Hwang Chansung, Lee Junho, Ok Taecyeon, Jang Wooyoung, Nichkhun Buck Horvejkul and Kim Minjun or Jun .K appearing on stage, all in tight black costumes singing “I’ll be Back”, followed by “I Was Crazy About You”.
Even though the group has not released a new album since its Hands Up Asia Tour in Jakarta last year, it lived up to its promise to give “a different and better” live performance. Each of the band’s members proved their quality as singers, despite some technical problems on stage.

Nichkhun, who had just rejoined the group after being involved in a traffic accident that led to his management — JYP Entertainment — barring him from any activities, also introduced his first self-composed song “Let it Rain”.
A song he dedicated to all the people and fans who had supported him through his darkest time.
The venue got hotter when they all sang “Back to You”, which showcased flexibility of each member’s physique.
Taecyeon and Chansung even opened their shirts and showed off their six-pack abs, an act that stirred the loudest screams from the band’s female fans, with some of them even standing on their chairs to get a better look, with some fans screaming “hot” while fanning themselves with their fingers.
In the middle of their performance they interacted with fans using more Indonesian words and sentences than just aku cinta padamu (I love you), The most popular sentence among foreign artists.
Chansung even took the audience by surprise when he suddenly sang an old Indonesian children song “Sayang Semuanya”, which off course became the highlight of the Saturday’s performance.
It seems like their statement during a press conference prior to the show, saying that since this was their third performance in Indonesia, they felt more comfortable with Indonesian audience, was true.
2PM first came to Indonesia to performed at a smartphone event in March last year, returning in November for its first solo concert called the “Hands Up Asia Tour”.
The “What Time Is It?” concert ended with a mash-up of a rock version of “I’ll Be Back”, a “Hands Up” remix and a message from the band: “We’ll be back very soon”.
